Rendezvous Casino Review
This Brighton based casino livens up the marina with a free, but mandatory membership club with “red” as the main stream decoration throughout. It is the largest casino in Brighton. The Rendezvous offers two floors of games to provide two different experiences. The upper deck is a gaming lounge for intimate adventures into gambling, while the main gaming floor is more of a party floor. The Big Red Lounge has a DJ every night, with cocktail bar, sports screens, and an overflow of gaming tables. The upper floor houses the Upper Deck Restaurant which requires a dress code like the rest of the casino, as smart casual.
Gaming at the Rendezvous Casino is offered six nights a week for poker leagues, seven poker festivals throughout the year, and even international tournaments are available. Dice, Punto Bunco, Blackjack, poker, roulette, and Majong are just a few of the games available on both floors. Casino War is a classic game offered by Rendezvous Casino in which the higher face value than another player at the table allows you to win the pot. Let it Ride is yet another game offered by the casino where you play against the dealer. It has a bit of Las Vegas with it when you consider the Big 6 Wheel of Fortune on the party floor where you could get a fairly large payout with just one spin. To complete the gaming offered there are video slots and other electronic gaming options.
Given the different levels at the casino, there are different ambiances for you to enjoy. For instance, the main floor has a party atmosphere with DJ each night in the cocktail bar and Las Vegas style slots and wheels. The second floor or Upper Deck is more exclusive with its intimate atmosphere for those who prefer serious gaming, tournaments, and to relax while socialising and playing. The Upper Deck Restaurant has the same pristine feel as the upper deck to ensure guests are able to relax while enjoying a top meal.
The Upper Deck Restaurant has views of the English Channel and Marina. Chefs work to find the best natural ingredients that Sussex can provide. From 6pm to 11:30pm daily there is an a la carte menu. There is also a players’ menu from 2pm to 3am at the Upper Deck for those who like to play well into the night. A full English style breakfast is on hand for those who stay beyond midnight to 3am. The breakfast is not offered on Sundays.
With cocktail bar, sophisticated restaurant, and two floors of gaming this free, yet mandatory membership club has plenty to offer guests. It may not have a three century history, but it does have a reputation as being the largest casino in Brighton and the best place to enjoy nightlife along Brighton Marina for visitors and residents alike. It does have a dress code that one must adhere to in order to get in even with a membership.
